Eclipse CSS Editor

Started searching around for a good CSS editor plugin for Eclipse. I've used Aptana in the past, but was very disappointed. Mostly due to Aptana's intrusive takeover of my Eclipse IDE. I wanted something simple that provided some code highlighting.

Enter Project Amateras. An Eclipse based HTML editor. Has all the usual charactaristics of a good code editor:

  • HTML/CSS/Javascript code assist
  • Code highlighting
  • Code folding

Very nice and FREE plugin.

@Reinhard

Not that I know. It's been a while since I used this tool since switching to Coldfusion Builder (http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/cfbuilder...). If you are coding Coldfusion I highly recommend it. It does include a built in CSS editor with the same features as the project discussed in this entry.

I try a few times to use cfBuilder, but i must say it is still ugly beta :-( You can't refresh the Brwoser View like in cfEclipse, you don't have any Dictionay-Help like in cfEclipse etc.?!
