Halloween Review

The remake of Halloween was released on August 31st. I've always been a fan of the series. Maybe it was the theme music , not sure. This "re imagining" by Rob Zombie is terrific. It provides enough original content to be surprising and entertaining. The kill scene's are very graphic. If you are a fan of the original or the series in general you will certainly enjoy this remake. In my opinion this film surpasses the original with it's back story content combined with it's re telling of the original story. I highly recommend it!

Since I had so much fun with my South Park character.

Here is my Simpson's character.

Transformers Review

Ok. So it's a little late, but it's my blog!

This is one of those movies that you either love or hate. If you played with the Transformers toys or watched the cartoon you will absolutely love this movie. If not, you'll find yourself sitting through a mediocre action movie.

I did play with the toys and I watched the cartoon religously so I loved the movie. It probably appeals to my sense of nostalgia. I'm always skeptical of movies like this, but this one is done really well. The focus remains on the robots and the story is great. There are several "Optimus Prime" moments, but that's what I expected.

I saw the movie twice and I plan to see it again!

Casino Royale Piece of Crap.

Just finished watching Casino Royale. Wow! What a piece of crap. I guess they are letting children write James Bond movies now. There were so many twists and turns and meaningless subplots that I couldn't keep up with all of it. I'm still not sure I can identify the bad guy. It appears to me that they spent the entire production budget on sets and explosions. This is a really bad movie.

Breach Review

Just got back from watching Breach. It's been a while since I've been to the theater. When did they start showing 10 minutes of commercials before my movie? Doesn't this defeat the purpose of going to the theater? The movie itself was entertaining, but not what I expected. I expected a little more action. Anyone who is looking for an action packed spy movie will be disappointed. I found myself wondering: "Is this what spy's do?"
